The North Route takes you along the beautiful nature area the Princenhof. When you sail through, the picturesque fishing village Eernewoude will appear on the bow of your boat. Then the route will lead you through the capital city of Friesland, Leeuwarden. In Leeuwarden you can moor in the city park ‘Prinsentuin’. After Leeuwarden you enter the most northern city Dokkum. From Dokkum you go through Lauwersmeer passing Zoutkamp through the Reitdiep to Groningen. Then you sail through the Starkenborghkanaal to Bergum where you can moor in the marina. |
