Makkum is a rustic fishing village with its own promenade and a radiantly beautiful white beach directly on the IJsselmeer. Makkum is easily accessible from the waterway. As a tip we recommend that you go through the lock and moor in the “Marina Makkum“, so you can have a lovely beach walk in the evening.
